CASPI
Lian Caspi is a versatile singer and musician from Seattle by way of Tel Aviv. She won both the Musical Theater and Classical sections of the National Association of Teachers of Singing, and competed as Soprano soloist and duo member at Regional and State Solo and Ensemble competitions. At Whitman College, Lian performed many solo recitals, with the Whitman's Opera, Chorale, and premier A Cappella group - Schwa. She received the prestigious Watson Fellowship, spending a year and a half exploring Hindu vocal music, Argentinian song, Togolese voice and rhythm, and more. In addition to performing with Mochima, she currently works with Etienne Cakpo, Milvia Pacheco, Jordan Lowe, the Seattle Jewish Chorale, and Groupmuse. Lian works in Dispute Resolution; she is passionate about using music as a tool for change and is always looking to fuse her loves of conflict resolution and song.
